This is a contract-to-hire position.

Position Overview

\n

We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Architect to lead the stabilization and ongoing enhancement of a newly launched donor and community engagement platform. This individual will take ownership of technical delivery as support transitions from the implementation partner to the internal team.

\n

\n

The architect will assess the existing environment, lead complex defect resolution, design enhancements, and provide technical direction to a Salesforce administrator and junior administrator. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce architecture expertise with practical experience supporting and improving production environments.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Own the technical architecture and ongoing improvement of the Salesforce platform.

\n

• Lead the transition from the implementation partner, including knowledge transfer and review of existing configuration, integrations, documentation, and outstanding issues.

\n

• Investigate production defects, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

\n

• Translate business needs into technical designs, actionable requirements, and enhancement plans.

\n

• Prioritize and delegate work to internal Salesforce administrators, providing technical guidance and reviewing completed work.

\n

• Lead hands-on configuration and complex enhancements while maintaining platform stability.

\n

• Establish testing, deployment, and documentation practices to support reliable releases.

\n

• Partner with business stakeholders to improve platform functionality, data quality, and user experience.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

• Experience serving as a Salesforce Architect with hands-on responsibility for solution design and delivery.

\n

• Strong Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) architecture and implementation experience.

\n

• Experience designing and supporting Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions.

\n

• Demonstrated success stabilizing Salesforce environments following implementation or a major launch.

\n

• Strong troubleshooting skills across Salesforce configuration, automation, integrations, and data.

\n

• Experience translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.

\n

• Ability to direct work, mentor administrators, and maintain accountability for delivery.

\n

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders.

\n
