Reporting To: Accounting Manager
Location: Miami, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hybrid
Position Summary: Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
- Processes invoices from our third-party logistics provider (3PL).
- Pays vendors; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; Applying credit memos against open AP invoices;
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions;
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions;
- Reconciliation and verification of Suppliers/partners’ account statements; in constant touch with partners to ascertain records accuracy; Sends payment recaps to suppliers/partners;
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
