Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an exciting opportunity supporting young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary school environment near Alexandria, VA. This position begins in August and offers you the chance to make a lasting impact on students’ communication skills while working a consistent 37.5-hour week during the 26/27 school year.

You’ll provide assessment, intervention, and collaboration for a diverse caseload, benefiting from a supportive school staff and access to ongoing professional resources. Both SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as mentorship and guidance are available.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure for SLP or eligibility to obtain before the school year begins
• CCC-SLP credential, or SLP-CFY candidates with relevant clinical rotations accepted
• Experience supporting elementary school-aged children preferred, but new graduates welcome
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary caseload
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Accurately maintain required documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based professional teams
• Maintain open communication with students, families, and school representatives
