Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clarifying each step with care and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
