Clinical Role

Join an established ambulatory surgery center in Hanover, Pennsylvania, providing anesthesia care within a collaborative medical direction model. This full-time locums CRNA opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities while caring for both pediatric and adult surgical patients in a four-OR outpatient setting.

Assignment Details

Start Date:

October 19, 2026

Contract Length:

Through March 31, 2027, with option to extend

Coverage Requirements:

Full-time coverage

40 hours per week

Schedule:

Five 8-hour shifts per week

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

30-minute unpaid lunch

Call Schedule:

No call responsibilities

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

Ambulatory Surgery Center

Four operating rooms

Patient Population:

Pediatric and Adult patients

Patient Volume:

Approximately 6-15 patients per day depending on room assignment

Special Procedures & Case Mix:

• Orthopedics
• Gynecology
• Ophthalmology/Eyes
• Endoscopy
• ENT
• Dental
• General surgery

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia care for outpatient surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations
• Administer general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate
• Manage intraoperative anesthesia needs
• Participate in perioperative patient management
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Certification - Required
• Active Pennsylvania CRNA License - Required
• ACLS Certification - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• PALS Certification - Required

Credentialing

Approximately 90 days normally; facility will work to expedite credentialing when possible.
