Speech and Language Pathologist

We are looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist - PRN The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital is a 27-bed hospital devoted to helping patients return to an optimal level of independence after a life-altering event or diagnosis. Our knowledgeable doctors and staff work hard around the clock to ensure all our patients receive the high-quality care they need and deserve. Our specialty physicians are experts in stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, neurological disease, amputee, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Responsibilities We are looking for a prn speech language pathologist who will be responsible for a range of services providing care to patients with neurological, speech-language, cognitive, swallowing, pragmatic, voice, and other cognitive related disorders requiring intervention by a licensed speech language pathologist through an interdisciplinary approach. Our interdisciplinary team utilizes processes to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of our patients. In addition to bringing your talents and purpose to the workplace, qualified applicants will need the following: Qualifications Oneyearof work experience providing direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting Master’s degree in speech-language pathology with a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association Current Speech Language Pathologist License with the State of Louisiana Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association #J-18808-Ljbffr
