Utility Network GIS Consultant, Senior Associate

Duties: Utilize development tools including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Enterprise Manager, and Git. Experience with agile development methodology and processes. Prioritize tasks and manage multiple streams of work efficiently. Take initiative in complex problem-solving situations, troubleshooting intricate software issues, and devising solutions. Architect scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and performance benchmarks. Mentor and guide a development team, providing technical leadership and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency. Identify and document technical requirements by working with business users. Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Communicates clearly and concisely. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, ability to multitask. Required Education: BS or BA degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, or information systems or related field.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:

An AS or AA degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, or information systems and nine (9) years of overall experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree; or fourteen (14) years of overall experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree. Required Experience: At least ten (10) years software development experience, to include: Software Design and Development of which at least three (3) years of programming experience with the technologies specified above. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
