Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on department needs

Highlights:

• 24-bed Medical ICU specializing in complex, hemodynamically compromised adult and geriatric patients
• Epic EMR required; orientation includes 72 hours of onboarding support
• Advanced procedural environment including mechanical ventilation, CRRT, pulmonary artery catheter placement, chemotherapy administration, and plasmapheresis
• Common diagnoses include oncologic emergencies, ARDS, COPD, GI bleeds, sepsis, and neuromuscular conditions
• Interdisciplinary support with interpretation services and clinical trial opportunities
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted

Requirements:

• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care experience in Medical ICU (must be actively working in specialty within the last 12 months)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency with ventilator management, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, CRRT (NxStage machines), arterial line management, and IV starts
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, central line care, blood product administration, and isolation precautions
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
