Social Media ManagerThe Sephardic Community Center is seeking a results-driven Social Media & Digital Content Manager to drive community engagement, program awareness, increase online giving and membership growth across all digital touchpoints. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Communication & Growth, this role balances strategic vision with hands-on execution, from visual storytelling and short-form video production to high-converting social design and persuasive copy. The Manager will serve as the primary account owner for official social channels, manage direct SMS and WhatsApp communications, oversee digital assets, and lead cross-departmental coordination while setting measurable KPIs to drive program sign-ups, increase donations and grow membership.Primary ResponsibilitiesAccount Ownership & Social StrategyChannel Ownership: Oversee and manage all official Instagram and Facebook accounts for The CenterCommunity Engagement: Actively monitor comments, direct messages, and text replies daily to answer inquiries promptly and foster connectionStrategic Growth: Direct digital growth strategy, integrating trending sounds, creative concepts, and interactive formats.Content Planning: Maintain and execute the master social content calendarDepartmental Alignment: Coordinate regularly with internal account managers and program heads to align promotional needs with social strategyContent Creation & Multimedia ProductionVideo & Design Production: Shoot, edit, and design high-impact short-form videos (Reels, stories) and graphics built to capture attention, boost engagement, and convert views into program sign-upsGraphic Production: Design, format, and resize promotional graphics across digital channelsPhotography Requests: Fulfill internal photography needs for live events, programs, and facility activitiesPhoto Archives: Organize, tag, and maintain the Center's digital photo archives for long-term access and historical referencePersuasive Copywriting: Write clear, compelling copy and strong calls-to-action (CTAs) for post captions, video scripts, and text messagesDirect Messaging: Manage text messaging (SMS) and WhatsApp broadcast chats to push time-sensitive promos, event reminders, and registration links.Goal Setting & Metrics ReportingTargets & KPIs: Set clear performance goals for reach, engagement, and conversion/program sign-upsAnalytics Reporting: Track performance data regularly and present actionable key metrics reports back to leadershipQualificationsExperience: 1–3 years managing multi-platform social channels with a proven track record of using content to drive awareness and sign-upsPlatform & Software Expertise: Experience with Facebook, Instagram, SMS marketing software, WhatsApp broadcast tools, and social analytics platformsProduction Skills: Hands-on experience in video editing, graphic design, photography, and headline/caption writingWork Style & Adaptability: Proven ability to manage competing priorities, balance rapid-turnaround requests, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package
