Sr. Manager, Materials Management

Senior Manager leading Materials Management technology product strategy for R&D and product development at DePuy Synthes. Responsible for defining product vision, driving digital enablement, and ensuring technology solutions align with business strategy and regulatory requirements in a medical device environment.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for Materials Management technology solutions supporting R&D
- Partner with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to translate business needs into product requirements
- Lead application of AI, analytics, and automation to modernize R&D platforms and accelerate product development
- Guide technology design decisions for materials, specifications, BOMs, change management, and traceability
- Monitor product performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvements based on feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 8-10 years IT product management, product ownership, or technology leadership experience
- Strong technical expertise in PLM, ERP, or materials management enterprise systems
- Experience translating R&D and supply chain needs into technology roadmaps and backlogs
- Knowledge of regulated environments, quality systems, validation, and compliance expectations
- Proven cross-functional leadership and influence without direct authority
