Job Description As a Security Officer Medical Patrol Team in Towson, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:15 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:15 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 10:15 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:15 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential concerns. Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces to help support authorized access, follow visitor-related protocols, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations. Assist with documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and relaying observations related to security-related concerns, hazards, and/or medical emergency support requests. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Customer service experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
