Role Overview Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Owings Mills, MD . This part‑time role provides reliable hours at an assigned site with flexibility to pick up additional shifts. Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Friday 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shift): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift as your reliable base schedule, with a six‑month commitment. Earn More – Claim‑A‑Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, or critical situations calmly, professionally, and in a problem‑solving manner, documenting observations per site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, lobby areas, offices, and perimeter to identify and report security concerns or suspicious activity. Monitor entry points and visitor activity, support access control practices, and communicate with site personnel regarding security matters and operational concerns. Minimum Requirements Two or more years of security‑related experience. Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred). Customer service experience (preferred). Guard card and/or license (preferred). At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
