Position Details Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol – Owings Mills, MD Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior, exterior, and perimeter of the location to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other sensitive areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies and established post orders. Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, while following Allied Universal standards and client‑directed procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security‑related experience. A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
