As a Security Officer Corporate Office Part Time in Owings Mills, MD , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Sun: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM How This Role Works: Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and/or other communication systems; receive and relay routine and critical information to on‑site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Document incidents, calls for service, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity with clear and timely reports, logs, and dispatch records in accordance with site procedures. Coordinate responses to incidents, access issues, medical situations, and/or other critical events by prioritizing calls, tracking officer status, and communicating updates to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Possess a guard card or license, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
