Security Officer Medical Patrol Team – Towson, MD You will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help deter security incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tue: 06:00 AM – 02:15 PM Wed: 02:00 PM – 10:15 PM Thu: 02:00 PM – 10:15 PM Fri: 02:00 PM – 10:15 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential concerns. Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces to support authorized access, follow visitor protocols, and report suspicious behavior and policy violations. Assist with documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and relaying observations related to security concerns, hazards, and medical emergency support requests. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience. Proof of a high school diploma or GED. At least 21 years of age. At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field. Customer service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation as required by law. Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws. Drug screen as permitted by law. Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required.
