Driving innovation in generative AI, the full-time Senior Principal AI Scientist will design and train large-scale transformer models, define technical directions for next-generation models, and resolve training instabilities, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Design and implement large-scale transformer and hybrid foundation models Own model architecture decisions and optimize training stability across various paradigms Collaborate with ML systems teams to execute distributed foundation model training Required qualifications Deep theoretical and practical understanding of modern deep learning techniques Hands-on experience training large models from scratch Familiarity with optimization algorithms and training dynamics Experience with distributed training strategies and mixed precision techniques Proven ability to innovate architecture for large, real-world models
