CNC Swiss Machinist | Coon Rapids

Precera is seeking experienced CNC Swiss Machinists to join their growing medical manufacturing team. This role focuses on setting up and operating Tsugami Swiss CNC machines to produce precision medical components in a clean, highly regulated environment.

1st Shift

• Monday - Thursday
• 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

2nd Shift

• Sunday Night - Thursday Morning
• 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

• $70,000 - $104,000 annually
• $3,000 sign-on bonus
• Daily overtime after 8 hours worked
• 20% shift differential on 2nd shift

• Set up and operate Tsugami Swiss CNC machines
• Perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and basic machine setups
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Produce medium to long-run medical components while maintaining tight tolerances
• Inspect parts and verify quality throughout production
• Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues
• Meet production goals with minimal supervision

• 2+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience
• 6+ months of setup experience, including tool changes and offsets
• Blueprint reading experience
• Experience with Tsugami Swiss machines preferred
• Experience with Citizen, Star, or similar Swiss machines will be considered
• Medical device machining experience is a plus

This is a Permanent position based out of Coon Rapids, MN.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $104000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

If someone is interested in returning to school for machining – once someone has been employed for 6 months, after that company will reimburse up to $10,000 per year in tuition. Also – once someone has been there 6 months, they can apply for the apprentice program. The apprentice program is up to 2 years long, they learn all the different aspects of the shop – machining, machine setup, quality, finishing, and an exposure to programming and engineering. At the end of 2 years, they can apply for the journeyman program, which essentially makes them one of the “experts” in the shop and would come with a higher pay grade.

This is a fully onsite position in Coon Rapids,MN.

This position is anticipated to close on Sep 28, 2026.
