Shipside Operations Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) Company: The Boeing Company Location: Huntsville, AL Position Overview Shipside Operations Specialist – Manufacturing Representative assists with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations, conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria, provides limited feedback on assessment results, supports teammates in implementation of strategies and plans, and works under general supervision. Responsibilities Assists with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria Provides limited feedback on assessment results Supports teammates in implementation of strategies and plans Works under general supervision Basic Qualifications 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or operations environment 1+ years’ experience collecting and analyzing data and generating metrics reports Experience working with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Preferred Qualifications Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor’s degree or higher Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MESci) Experience working with staff at all levels, comfortable with conducting presentations and running meetings Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) An Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's COI assessment process Shift & Location Shift: C shift (Friday – Sunday 6:00am – 6:30pm) Location: 100% onsite in Huntsville, AL Security Clearance & Export Control Requires ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; post‑start clearance required Must comply with U.S. export control requirements; defined as a U.S. Person Not a safety-sensitive position Total Rewards & Pay Range Pay based on experience and qualifications; competitive base pay with variable compensation opportunities Associate level (Level 2): $68,850 – $93,150 Mid-level (Level 3): $81,600 – $110,400 Company 401(k) plan with 100% vesting; matches up to 10% of eligible pay EEO Statement Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
