Data Analyst II

Role Summary The Data Analyst II supports Operations and Compliance by delivering data-driven insights, reporting solutions, and analytics that enhance business performance and decision-making. This role serves as a key partner to operational leaders, translating business needs into actionable data solutions and supporting the development of scalable reporting capabilities across the organization. This role requires strong technical depth, including SQL expertise and a strong working knowledge of Power BI (data modeling and report development) and DAX, along with the ability to independently develop end-to-end reporting solutions. What You Will Do Performs in-depth data analyses and reporting. Communicates results through presentations, reports, and memos to internal stakeholders. Uses data to improve business processes and decision‑making. Utilizes analytical skills and available tools to perform in-depth analysis of both internal and third‑party data to provide business recommendations. Create customized presentations and reports that effectively and clearly communicate results to stakeholders. Acts as liaison between various departments for data collection and reporting. Creates reports based on business needs. Builds, manages and analyzes internal data sets by utilizing data analysis skills. Examines data sets and reports to ensure accuracy and data integrity. Clearly communicates analytic results and post‑event summaries to improve future business decisions. Independently analyzes data to identify significant differences, relationships and trends. Translates customer data needs into concrete data mining tasks and executes them. Improves data reporting and presentation methods. Effectively presents information management concepts and methods to non‑technical users. Assists with other analyses as requested by management. Identifies cause and solution of any data bugs or errors. Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job. Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned. What You Will Need Preferred Bachelor's Degree in business administration, math, statistics, related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job‑related experience: Experience with Microsoft Excel functions, including but not limited to: complex formulas, charts, queries, macros. Working knowledge of SAS or Microsoft Power BI products. Interacts with data sources using various techniques, including: SQL queries, imports and exports, report development, data visualizations. Working knowledge of information extraction and analysis techniques, and practices. Identifies data relationships, complete data mining, and creates analytic solutions. Working knowledge of statistical methods and data mining preferred. Demonstrated ability of strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and prioritizing. Interacts and communicates effectively. Mobility to travel in and around office facilities system wide. Ability to communicate and/or exchange information or instructions and conduct oral presentations. Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
