Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique conditions and recovery goals.
• Provide direct patient care through hands-on therapy techniques, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting changes and adapting treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising Physical Therapist when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques and self-care methods to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Conduct routine assessments and provide feedback to the rehabilitation team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients who require orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative recovery from surgeries such as joint replacements and ligament repairs, as well as individuals with chronic pain or sports-related injuries. Your role is essential to providing quality therapeutic intervention to support these patients and help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in orthopedic therapy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to deliver compassionate care while demonstrating professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
