Hardscrabble Hospitality Group from award-winning chef DAN KLUGER is growing our BOH Kitchen Team! We are currently seeking a LEAD PASTRY COOK.
An interest in seasonally driven menu items is a must as well an overall passion for cooking. We are looking for a motivated individual that can manage day-to-day station operations with guidance from Company Pastry Chef. Ideally candidate is team-oriented, capable of problem solving, and open to opportunity offering growth potential.
Qualifications
Candidate must:
- be able to read and follow recipes, as well as follow directions and lists outlined by a chef
- understand and follow the proper DOH food safety policies
- be punctual
- can communicate in English
- maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers
- can work in a fast-paced and stressful environment without losing composure
- have the ability to stand while working for long periods of time
- can lift up to 50 lbs.
NOTE - Tax withholding is calculated using Federal and New York State 2022 income tax guidelines. For simplification, we've assumed "single" marital status and no additional income. This does not represent any legal authority and is just an estimate used for approximation purposes.
