Clerical Aide

Clerical Aide

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Clerical Aide to support the review and processing of annual recertifications and related program documentation. This is a temporary 6-month assignment with a flexible schedule based on operational needs.

Under direct supervision, the selected candidate will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties, with a strong emphasis on document management and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, as all annual certifications are processed and managed through this platform.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review annual recertification packets for completeness and accuracy.
  • Contact program participants to obtain required documentation and clarify missing information.
  • Prepare and issue Notices of Intended Action (NOIA) in accordance with established procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat to:
    • Manage, edit, organize, and manipulate annual certification documents
    • Review forms for accuracy
    • Combine and organize files
    • Ensure proper document formatting
  • Organize and assemble files for Housing Specialist staff to complete processing.
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment (computer, printer, copier, calculator).
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including:
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
    • Adobe Acrobat (strongly preferred)
  • Ability to organize and prepare files efficiently and accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with coworkers and program participants.
