Clerical Aide
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Clerical Aide to support the review and processing of annual recertifications and related program documentation. This is a temporary 6-month assignment with a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
Under direct supervision, the selected candidate will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties, with a strong emphasis on document management and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, as all annual certifications are processed and managed through this platform.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Review annual recertification packets for completeness and accuracy.
- Contact program participants to obtain required documentation and clarify missing information.
- Prepare and issue Notices of Intended Action (NOIA) in accordance with established procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat to:
- Manage, edit, organize, and manipulate annual certification documents
- Review forms for accuracy
- Combine and organize files
- Ensure proper document formatting
- Organize and assemble files for Housing Specialist staff to complete processing.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (computer, printer, copier, calculator).
- Proficiency in computer applications, including:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Adobe Acrobat (strongly preferred)
- Ability to organize and prepare files efficiently and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with coworkers and program participants.
