Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, create tailored treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions based on physician referrals.
• Provide hands-on therapy for various specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service while efficiently managing patient interactions to enhance their experiences.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to discussions and utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic services that encompass rehabilitation techniques designed to improve patient function and condition.
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures and self-management strategies to empower their rehabilitation journey.
• Meet established productivity targets and other organizational business objectives to maintain operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily treat a diverse range of patients, each with unique needs and challenges. From young athletes recovering from injuries to older adults with chronic conditions, your role is vital in helping these individuals regain mobility and functional independence. Your expertise will also be instrumental in caring for pediatric patients, providing tailored treatments that are sensitive to their developmental needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist, granted by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting, showcasing your hands-on proficiency and patient care abilities.
• Current CPR certification to ensure you are prepared for emergencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• A nurturing approach and the ability to forge strong relationships with patients, enabling them to achieve and surpass their recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with a background in specific specialties such as post-operative orthopedic care, pediatric therapy, or sports rehabilitation will be favored. Experience in evidence-based treatment methodologies will also enhance your application.
