Work Environment

At our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Riverview, Florida, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering top-notch orthopedic care. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources to support effective patient outcomes. You will experience a dynamic workday from Monday to Friday, with scheduled hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, patient needs, and physician recommendations.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients using diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Administering manual therapy techniques and guiding patients through therapeutic exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.
• Educating and coaching patients on non-manual exercises and functional activities to promote rehabilitation and injury prevention.
• Applying physical agents, including traction and massage, to facilitate pain relief and mobility improvement.
• Assessing and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed, while collaborating with physicians to recommend any necessary modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients of all ages, providing them with the tools and support they need to regain their independence and functional mobility.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic therapy, with experience in outpatient and acute care settings.
• Expertise in orthopedic assessment and a strong foundation in various therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a clinical team.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with additional experience in geriatrics, sports rehabilitation, or advanced orthopedic practices will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is also favorable and will assist in enhancing workflow and documentation efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

Your dedication and expertise will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, along with performance-based bonuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
