About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Accounts Payable to take on a pivotal role in leading their AP team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving complex inquiries and account discrepancies, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining strong vendor partnerships. This senior leader will oversee invoice processing workflows, manage AP aging and payment cycles, and address any issues that may arise to minimize operational risk. Additionally, the role involves supervising and developing a team of AP professionals, driving high performance, and upholding rigorous internal controls. Applicants for the Head of Accounts Payable position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar leadership role. The role requires excellent leadership skills to foster a cooperative work environment and create a culture of teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
