Specialty: MRI Tech
Shift: 4x10 Days from 07:30 to 18:00
Weekend and On Call: One weekend every 6 weeks is required
Holiday: Required as scheduled
Floating: Required within skillset, possible floating to a sister location
Ratios: Day patient ratios of 1:2 and night ratios of 1:1
First-time travelers are accepted
Contract length is for 16 weeks
Required skills include abdomen, brain, and breast MRI procedures
Experience with patient ratios and charting system is mandatory
Additional desirable skills include trauma and outpatient experience
Compliance with infection control and safety protocols is expected
Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Daily census is estimated at approximately 10 patients with 10 visits per day
Candidates must be comfortable with floating and have no restrictions
Return travelers typically must be away for at least 6 months
Extensions may be possible, but typically require a break of 6 months before returning to the same facility or unit
Most units require CPI certification as part of compliance
