Radiology - Cath Lab Tech

Cath Lab Tech
Specialty: Cath Lab Tech. Shift: 4x10 Days from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. Weekend work is required, including 1 full weekend. In months with 5 weekends, the traveler will split the 5th weekend. Holidays are required; must be able to work on holidays. On-call duty is required for 9-11 days a month. Floating to Interventional Radiology is a plus. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must have charting system experience with Epic. Experience in a community hospital is preferred. The daily patient census is approximately 6 patients. Candidates are expected to manage equipment and maintain inventory. Skills required include 3D imaging, accurate monitoring, and performing EKG lead placement. Additional skills include hemodynamic monitoring, temporary pacemaker placement, and using vascular closure systems. Candidates should be able to scrub procedures and maintain a sterile field. Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is essential. Candidates will be expected to work independently and manage their tasks efficiently.
