Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Adecco is currently hiring for a Purchasing Assistant / Buyer in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a temporary opportunity expected to run through September and is a great fit for someone with previous purchasing, buying, procurement, or vendor coordination experience. The Purchasing Assistant / Buyer will support the purchasing department by processing purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and helping ensure materials and supplies are available to support production needs. Responsibilities

- Process purchase orders for materials, components, supplies, and services
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, order status, and delivery updates
- Follow up on late orders, shortages, discrepancies, and other purchasing-related issues
- Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP/MRP systems and support the purchasing team as needed
- Previous experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or supply chain support
- Manufacturing, industrial, or production environment experience preferred
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred; SAP experience is a plus
- Strong Excel, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Weekly pay
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Monday - Friday schedule
