Remote Patient Intake Coordinator

Working remotely four days a week, the full-time Remote Patient Intake Coordinator will manage new patient referrals, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and a smooth transition to agency services. Key responsibilities Respond to inquiries from referral sources and coordinate multiple telephone calls effectively Document and process referral information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to facilitate ongoing referrals Required qualifications High school diploma or GED Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and TEAMS Data entry skills of 40 words per minute/10,000 keystrokes per hour Basic knowledge of the medical industry and insurance functions Ability to work after hours and on-call as needed
