Looking for a motivated bilingual front office receptionist with excellent communication skills for a busy Family Practice office.

Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist – Family Practice

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients. This position plays a key role in providing a welcoming and efficient experience for patients and ensuring smooth front-office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments 
• Verify and update patient insurance and demographic information and scan insurance cards into patient's chart
• Collect co-pays and balances at check-in/check-out
• Respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Ensure the waiting area is tidy and welcoming
• Coordinate with medical assistants and providers for efficient patient flow

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a medical office (family practice or primary care preferred)
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), preferably eClinicalWorks
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Bilingual
