Patient Service Associate - Ortho

Hourly Pay Range $18.38 - $26.65. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Patient Support Assistant - Ortho Location: Kildeer, IL Full Time: 40 hours/weekly Hours: Varies Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Typically 8-9 hour shifts. Includes rotating weekends and locations Required Travel: For coverage purposes to our Arlington Heights offices. What you will do Answer all incoming telephone calls from patients, physicians, and other departments and handle each as appropriate in accordance with NorthShore telephone customer service standards and practice protocols including documenting in Epic telephone encounters Utilize Epic to schedule and register all new, established, and post-procedure patients in accordance with patient and physician preferences, physician availability, and practice protocols Obtain prior authorization for procedures Review provider templates Provide other administrative support under the direction of the Physicians and Practice Manager What you will need Required: High school diploma or equivalent work experience 1 year experience in an administrative/customer service position Preferred: EPIC knowledge and experience highly preferred.
