Commercial Fleet Portfolio Manager, Elmhurst Ford (Bensenville, IL)
Base + Commission, $90,000 - $180,000

We're looking for someone who wants to get on the road, find fleet accounts, and build a book of commercial service business around one of the largest commercial UIO markets in the nation. If you're the type who'd rather be out in front of customers than sitting behind a desk all day, keep reading.

We are the fastest growing Ford dealership in the region and one of the fastest growing in the country, with a full Ford Commercial Vehicle Center, over 64 service bays, and a shop already putting up 5,500+ hours a month with capacity to take on serious fleet volume. The commercial units in operation around us are massive and growing, and most of that business is getting serviced somewhere else right now, so your job is to go out and change that.

Requirements:

 

The right person knows how to get in front of fleet managers, business owners, and municipalities, and knows how to turn a first conversation into a long term service relationship. You should understand commercial trucks, upfits, Ford Pro, and what fleet customers actually care about, which is uptime. Experience with Ford Mobile Service is a big plus for us because we can bring the shop to the customer, and most of our competition can't say that.

Pay is a base salary plus uncapped commission on the business you build. The range above is what we expect the right person to earn, and after year one there's no ceiling on it, so how far it goes is really up to you.

I'll be straight with you, this isn't a gig for job hoppers or underperformers. We're looking for somebody who wants to build a portfolio from the ground up, own it, and grow with it for years, and if you're serious about furthering your automotive career there are very few opportunities like this anywhere in the country.
