**Experience Required:** - 1-2 years minimum experience required - Must have experience in a large L&D unit/facility - Trauma Level II Experience Required - Community Hospital Experience Required **First-Timers:** - First-timers accepted **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) **Licensure:** - NM license can pend at time of submission **Skills Required:** - Circulate and FHM skills - Baby Nurse (Baby Catcher), Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Circulate for C-section, Episiotomy/Incisional Care - Must have experience with 3s/4s in postpartum, baby nurse, meconium deliveries - Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Wound assessment/care **Charting System Experience:** - Preferred Cerner Charting System Experience **Other Requirements:** - Must pass and maintain compliance requirements including drug screen, EKG testing (if applicable), and MOAB training for behavioral health positions. - Float to antepartum and postpartum as needed. - Must rotate between L&D and OB triage, float to antepartum and postpartum unit. - Special procedures include Cerclage, version, C/S, PPTL, external and internal monitoring, AROM, medically assisted deliveries. **Eligibility and Restrictions:** - No locals within 100 miles - Must complete compliance within 1-2 weeks of signing - Return to the facility as travel staff requires a 12-month separation period. - RQI certifications not accepted.
