Shalom Gardens Health & Rehab is seeking a compassionate and driven Unit Manager (LPN) to join our leadership team. In this key role, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while supporting and developing your nursing team.

Position Summary

The Unit Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards while promoting a positive and supportive work environment. This role serves as a leader, mentor, and clinical resource for nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and clinical care delivery on assigned unit
• Supervise and support nursing staff, including CNAs and nurses
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
• Monitor resident care plans and ensure accurate documentation
• Conduct rounds and assess resident conditions, addressing concerns promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and staff development
• Participate in care plan meetings and communicate with families as needed
• Support infection control, safety, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of Virginia
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
