E-Commerce Growth Specialist

Role Description

As an E-Commerce Growth Specialist at Salt Strong, you will take ownership of FishStrong.com, our rapidly growing E-Commerce business serving a passionate fishing community. This role is not about managing a website; it's about driving growth and enhancing customer experience.

Your primary objective is to:

• Grow FishStrong.com into the go-to destination for fishing gear, tackle, accessories, and products trusted by our community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Shopify Store Ownership:
  • Owning overall store performance and growth
  • Managing collections, merchandising, navigation, and customer experience
  • Improving mobile usability, site speed, and conversion flow
  • Coordinating theme improvements, integrations, and new functionality
  • Continuously finding opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
  • Improving product page and checkout conversion rates
  • Testing offers, bundles, upsells, and landing pages
  • Analyzing customer behavior and funnel drop-off points
  • Optimizing every step of the customer journey
  • Turning more visitors into customers
• CRM & Lifecycle Marketing (HubSpot):
  • Improving customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing
  • Building and optimizing email automations
  • Increasing abandoned cart recovery
  • Improving upsell and cross-sell performance
  • Increasing member-to-customer conversion rates
  • Driving repeat purchases and customer retention
• Merchandising & Product Growth:
  • Determining what gets promoted, launched, bundled, and featured
  • Managing product launches, seasonal promotions, and featured product campaigns
  • Implementing upsell strategies and cross-sell opportunities
  • Optimizing merchandising
• Campaign Strategy:
  • Working closely with marketing and content teams to develop campaigns
  • Managing product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
  • Creating landing pages and sales funnels
  • Offering member-exclusive deals
• Paid Ad Strategy:
  • Brainstorming with the ad creative team to develop high-performing ads
  • Identifying top ad themes and creating new ad campaign ideas
  • Optimizing landing pages
• Analytics & Reporting:
  • Monitoring key E-Commerce KPIs
  • Identifying growth opportunities
  • Using Shopify and HubSpot data to guide decisions
  • Reporting on revenue drivers and optimization opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Shopify experience with a proven track record of growing revenue
• Understanding of E-Commerce strategy, CRO, merchandising, and customer psychology
• Experience using HubSpot for lifecycle marketing
• Highly analytical and creative
• Ability to take ownership and drive outcomes
• Self-starter who identifies opportunities and acts on them

Requirements

• Direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience
• Experience in subscription or membership businesses
• Product launch and promotional campaign experience
• Knowledge of digital marketing
• Familiarity with paid traffic strategies
