A positive impression is expected from the CSR’s as they are the first contact of the customers and insurance company personnels. Working as a CSR has many benefits including training and experience on overall administrative functions leading to other career growth opportunities.Customer Service Rep ResponsibilitiesGreeting CustomersAnswering and managing incoming phone callsPopulating the calendar with appointments for estimates or drop-offsCalling on assignments sent by insurance company and capturing estimatesCreating repair orders for customer/vehicle drop offObtaining proper authorizations and signatures from drop-off to deliveryScanning all authorizations and signed documentsCollecting and recording monies due from customer at deliveryAssisting office manager on accounts receivable and payables as neededSetting up tows if requested by insurance companyCosting rental and tow bills into management systemCoordinating with the repair planner to update and document the communication of repair statusPreparing daily deposits for bank pick-up, making sure payments are accurateFiling daily invoices and delivered filesUpdating job skills as agreed with managementPerforming all other duties assigned by managementQualificationsMust have familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and the ability to quickly learn estimating systems, management systems and various computer programs.Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of charactersExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyHigh school degree or equivalent18 years or olderCompany BenefitsHealth and dental insuranceLife insurancePaid vacation
