Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Communities Learning Center (CCLC) Texas ACE Grant CoordinatorCoordinate and implement activities for the division's Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Communities Learning Center (CCLC) Texas ACE grant at designated campus. Assure that students received educational and enrichment opportunities outside school hours, including before and after school, weekends, and summers.QualificationsEducation/Certification:Current High School studentMinimum age requirement: 16 years oldSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Ability to provide a positive environment for studentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredExcellent organizational skills requiredAbility to be flexible in assignments and work hours may vary on occasion for special eventsAbility to provide exemplary customer serviceCandidates must be flexible, motivated, creative and willing to learn new skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills a plusComputer skills with Microsoft Office Programs a plusExperience:Experience working with school aged children (4-18) is preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Lead enrichment and/or academic activities for students ages 4-18Develop and/or implement lesson plans for assigned activitiesAttend Professional Development trainingsParticipate in formal and in-formal activity observationsMaintain confidentiality of informationPerform other duties as assigned.
