Clinical Director

Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) is a growing outpatient behavioral health organization dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality mental health services throughout Northeast Ohio. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our outpatient mental health programs and multidisciplinary treatment teams. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and leadership for therapists and case managers. Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor behavioral health staff. Monitor clinician and case management productivity, documentation compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Joint Commission, CMS, and Ohio DBH regulations. Conduct chart audits and lead quality improvement initiatives. Provide therapy, assessments, and clinical coverage as needed. Partner with executive leadership on program management, financial planning, and strategic growth initiatives. Build relationships with referral sources and community partners to improve access to behavioral healthcare services. Qualifications Master\'s degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Active Ohio LISW-S or LPCC-S license required. Minimum 4 years of clinical management experience in behavioral health. Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in outpatient mental health or behavioral healthcare administration. Experience with clinical operations, staff development, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Excel.
