Immediate opening for a Bilingual Medical Customer Service Representative in Dallas, TX who possesses:
- 3+ years of strong CS call center experience, healthcare industry highly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge in Excel
- Bilingual Spanish
FULL DESCRIPTION : The Customer Service Representative is responsible for acting as the first point of contact for customers and referring physicians. This position is critical to the company as the Customer Service Representative functions as the liaison between the customer and the company by providing friendly and efficient service which impacts the profitability of the organization.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Operations
- Answers a minimum of 10 inbound calls per hour; and outbound calls as needed;
- Verify eligibility as needed via various online sites
- Adheres to polices to obtain correct identifiers prior to discussing Private Health Information (PHI); HIPAA rules and regulations
- Follows established procedures and processes.
Service
- Follows the company opening introduction with every customer 100% of the time;
- Verifies patient information 100% of the time as necessary to comply with HIPAA guidelines before making any updates
- Processes patient credit card payments as needed
- Maintains customer confidentiality 100% of the time;
- Maintains productivity; ensures minimal downtime.
Team Focus
- Adheres to attendance policy; on time for all scheduled shifts including breaks and lunches;
- Forms strong working relationships within team and treats each other with respect;
- Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor; is willing to ask for help;
- Supports supervisor with special projects on as needed basis;
- Attends meetings and training on as needed basis.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- 3-5 years in medical billing or other healthcare customer service; or comparable customer service field
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Energetic and flexible.
- Manages multiple projects and timelines.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Exhibits sound judgment.
- Forms strong working relationships within team.
- Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
- Strong spelling and grammar skills.
- Strong computer skills required. Microsoft Office, Excel
- Types at least 40 wpm.
- Minimum one year experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- College coursework preferred.
Salary Range: $23/hour
