About the Role

A boutique business management firm in Nashville, TN is seeking a Client Assistant to provide accounting and administrative support to a client service team. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your accounting expertise, contribute directly to client success, and grow within a collaborative and high-performing firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and client billing with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and maintain client budgets, financial reports, and variance analyses.
• Manage payroll, sales tax, and 1099/W-2 reporting for client entities.
• Conduct reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting support for client accounts.
• Track and analyze tour and merchandise activity, including settlement reports and cash flow.
• Assist with tax preparation tasks and maintain compliance documentation.
• Mentor administrative staff and interns to support operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Client Managers, Business Managers, and Partners on projects and client initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two semesters of accounting coursework required; degree or additional coursework preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or client service roles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Entertainment or professional services industry experience a plus.

Work Environment

This position is fully in-office in Nashville, TN . Employees become eligible for up to two remote workdays per month after one year of employment.
