Job Responsibilities

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and formulate tailored therapy strategies to enable them in achieving their recovery objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to boost patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand in hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and families in therapy approaches to maintain momentum in their recovery journey at home.
• Track and Modify Treatments: Monitor clinical progress and make necessary adjustments to therapies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or further certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
