As a hospital setting, expect to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals. Our clinic boasts well-equipped gyms, advanced therapeutic modalities, and an environment designed to support both our staff and patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions.Conduct functional assessments and track patient progress through appropriate documentation and adjustments to treatment as advised by supervising therapists.Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and therapeutic techniques to improve the physical abilities and quality of life of patients.Educate patients and their families on exercises, treatment plans, and health management strategies to foster understanding and compliance.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care protocols and share insights on patient progress.Adhere to ethical and legal standards in care delivery while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily support elderly patients residing in skilled nursing facilities, including those rehabilitating from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, and complex healthcare issues. A compassionate approach and understanding of geriatric care are essential, as these patients often require tailored treatment to address their unique challenges and goals.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.Active Physical Therapist Assistant license with the ability to practice unencumbered by state and federal guidelines.A dedicated commitment to enhancing the lives of our patients, with a particular passion for geriatric care.New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive mentorship from experienced professionals.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but not mandatory.Familiarity with electronic healthcare systems, such as Net Health or Casamba, is advantageous.Strong background in clinical documentation and patient management practices.Compensation and BenefitsThe Physical Therapist Assistant position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
