Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be instrumental in improving the mental health and wellness of your clients through various activities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that are centered around their unique needs, objectives, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide educational support, empowering clients and their families with knowledge about mood disorders and treatment options, as well as essential self-care strategies.

• Monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment; adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for integrated care.

• Proven success in delivering effective treatment outcomes for individuals with mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
