Assistant Field Manager

Responsibilities Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned): Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned Reviews and interprets shop drawings Reviews submittals and expedites materials Monitors production rates and schedules Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement Assists with reporting obligations Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience 4-year college degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or related discipline (or a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields) Ability to multitask Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Superior organizational skills The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
