As the Special Education educator, you’ll work a reliable schedule from 7:35 to 2:45 each school day. Your expertise will be valued as you teach a variety of math classes—guiding 9th and 10th graders through integrated math, inspiring 7th and 8th graders, and collaborating as a co-teacher for 10th grade geometry. With approximately 18% of students receiving special education services, your skills and creativity will be key in ensuring all learners reach their potential.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Intervention Specialist (IS) certification in the state of Ohio
• Experience or strong interest in teaching integrated math at the middle and high school level
• Commitment to collaborative teaching, particularly in co-taught environments
• Clear communication and a positive attitude in classroom and team interactions
• Dedication to individualized instruction and inclusive practices

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering engaging math lessons for students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborating with general education and other special education staff
• Maintaining accurate documentation for student progress and IEPs
• Adapting curriculum to support student growth and achievement
• Fostering an encouraging learning environment for all
