Overview
Registered Nurse, EP Lab/Cardiac Device RN — Burlington, VT. This travel, temporary assignment begins 09/03/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,685 to $2,782. Shift is 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with no on-call or weekend requirements. Setting: hospital-based outpatient cardiac device clinic.

Responsibilities
- Perform pre-visit assessments and care coordination for adults in the outpatient cardiac device clinic, including device interrogation and routine follow-up.
- Manage implanted cardiac rhythm management devices (pacemakers, ICDs, and implanted loop recorders) and document findings in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with cardiology and device service teams to troubleshoot device concerns and implement provider-directed care plans.
- Educate patients on device care, activity restrictions, and follow-up expectations; ensure patient safety and comfort during visits.
- Monitor vital signs and administer therapies as ordered; respond to device alerts or patient changes per established protocols.
- Maintain accurate device logs, ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards, and complete required documentation in EPIC.

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing (Vermont or eligible to practice in the state)
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Pacemaker/ICD technician program or equivalent job experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology
- Ability to work in an outpatient clinic environment, Monday–Friday 8:00–16:30; reliable transportation required due to limited public transit
