As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate Lower Elementary Lead Guide (Montessori Teacher) to join our close-knit school community. We welcome both experienced Montessori educators and Assistant Guides preparing for their practicum or certification pathway.

What You’ll Do as a Lower Elementary Montessori Guide

As a Lower Elementary Lead Guide , you will create a prepared Montessori environment where children are empowered to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a complete Montessori Lower Elementary curriculum (ages 6–9)
• Preparing and maintaining a structured, child-centered Montessori classroom environment
• Providing individualized Montessori lessons tailored to each child’s developmental stage
• Supporting academic, emotional, and social growth through observation and guidance
• Integrating outdoor education, nature studies, gardening, and farm-based learning into daily instruction
• Tracking and documenting student progress in alignment with Montessori practices
• Building strong, respectful partnerships with parents and families
• Collaborating with faculty to support a cohesive school culture
• Maintaining accurate records and communication aligned with Montessori standards

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000–$65,000+ annually , depending on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of elementary teaching experience
• MACTE-accredited Montessori Elementary certification (6–9 or 6–12) or active practicum enrollment preferred
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development
• Passion for nature-based and experiential learning
