Hotel General Manager

Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Lead, supervise, and develop hospitality teams, promoting a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability. Maintain high standards of hotel guest service by ensuring compliance with property management systems (PMS), hotel management protocols, and guest service standards. Oversee human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies. Implement effective customer service initiatives to enhance guest relations, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure memorable stays for all visitors. Utilize property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures to optimize operational efficiency. Coordinate with departments to uphold hotel safety standards, manage night audits, and oversee security protocols including CCTV surveillance and access control. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in hospitality operations by analyzing performance metrics and implementing best practices across departments. Requirements Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation platforms, property management systems (PMS), and financial operations related to budgeting and revenue management. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively across multiple departments. Demonstrated ability in overseeing daily hotel operations with a focus on customer service excellence and guest satisfaction. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Experience managing hospitality teams within resort or hotel environments with familiarity in night audit procedures and front desk operations. Strong understanding of human resources practices including staffing, training, conflict resolution, and compliance with employment regulations.
