Registered Veterinary Technician

Position Overview Pacific Animal Hospital is a progressive companion animal hospital in Redondo Beach. We are looking for an experienced, detail‑oriented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to provide patient care during surgical and dental procedures, assist with anesthesia, and support client communication. Responsibilities Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures—including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation, recovery, dental cleanings, and radiographs. Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication. Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity. Collaborate with the team to support veterinarian orders during outpatient visits, ensuring high‑level patient care. Schedule Full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available. Saturday availability is required. Full‑time team members work a four‑day workweek with 10‑hour shifts; part‑time members work 8‑hour shifts. Benefits & Compensation Compensation: $28–32 per hour. Bonus package: $2,000. Continuing education allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure. Current Registered Veterinary Technician License in California. Proficiency in venipuncture and cystocentesis. Proficiency in placing IV catheters and administering injections.
