Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting contract opportunities are available for two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to make an immediate impact in an educational setting near Valparaiso, IN. This role is perfect for professionals who thrive in school-based environments and are driven to help students achieve their communication goals. Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) is preferred, as these roles focus on providing high-quality support to elementary students throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement therapy
- Dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary students
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to design and execute tailored therapy plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for student needs while ensuring compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team atmosphere
